2017 Skoda Yeti spied on Czech roads; leaves nothing to the imagination
Spy shots of a smaller Skoda SUV has surfaced online. The images show rear profile views of a the Skoda-like SUV, which seems to be in testing in the Czech Republic with barely any camouflage.
AutoCZ captured the images of what it is calling the 2017 Skoda Yeti, the premiere of which is expected to take place at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show in March.
Indeed, the spy shots leave nothing to the imagination (apart from the front bits). The spy shots reveals a vehicle that look eerily similar to the Seat Ateca from the rear end and the sides with minor modifications.
Those minor modifications done to this 2017 Yeti include a bigger quarter glass and tail lamps that look closer the recently unveiled Skoda Kodiaq SUV. One thing to note, is that new Skoda Yeti is a complete redesign from the outgoing model.
Since the new Yeti shares its MQB platform with the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Seat Ateca, we can expect similar engine options in the upcoming vehicle as well.
This would include options ranging from 1.0-litres to 2.0-litres along with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic options.
The vehicle according to the source is also expected to arrive in both FWD and AWD drivetrain options.
