3,100HP 50’ Marauder AMG speedboat is a Mercedes-AMG GT-R for the water

We all love the green Mercedes-AMG GT-R coupe. After it came the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster and the AMG GT C Roadster as well. While Mercedes-AMG is not new to the world of speedboats, on the occassion of its 50th anniversary, Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing teamed up to build a magnificent AMG GT-R… for the water.

This beast of a speedboat unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show, has been christened as the 50′ Marauder AMG and as you can already tell (with matching green and black finish), it is inspired by the AMG GT-R.

Those fine lines at the bow and and the hull is not a paint job, but is a finish achieved by extensive use of carbon fibre. And there more of it used on the deck, cockpit and even the console. Indeed all of these additions also the Marauder AMG is 1,298 pounds lighter than its predecessor.

Inside, there are two Mercury Racing quad cam engines that comes with two settings activated by an electrical key fob. With the “pleasure” key fob and each of those fine engines produce 1,350hp (with 91 octane fuel). Insert the “race” fob and the power goes up to to 1,550hp (per engine) which delivers a total 3,100hp.

The seats inside are designed by the AMG Performance Studio and there’s a new logo to commemorate the AMG and Cigarette Racing’s partnership that goes back by a good 10 years. The colour used on the hull for the striking AMG logo comes from the same shade of “Green Hell Magno” like on the sports car.

Together, Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing have produced eight special editions so far. It’s up for sale and price is available on request, if you’re interested.
