Live MLB games could be coming to Facebook

Facebook is reportedly in talks with Major League Baseball to bring streaming games to the platform. The deal — which insiders are describing as 50/50 at this point — could be a boon for the company. Facebook has displayed an increase focus on video of late, and a streaming deal with one of the “big three” American sports (football, baseball, basketball) certainly wouldn’t hurt. A Reuters report says the deal would be for one game a week to start — and one we hope that’s more entertaining than the historically ho-hum Thursday Night NFL games found on Twitter.
