MWC 2017 LG G6 LIVE: LG to announce its flagship phone with a 5.7-inch display, revamped UX

While the Mobile World Congress officially begins on 27 February, most of the major keynotes are scheduled to take place today. South Korean electronics giant LG is all set to unveil its upcoming flagship phone – the LG G6 – shortly.

LG had released its modular G5 flagship last year. There was a camera module that could add better camera controls and aid with grip, another module would add a higher capacity battery, another one could improve the audio quality and so on.

But with the LG G6, it seems like LG is going back to the basics. At least from the teaser it had released last month, focussed on aspects such as a big display, water-proofing, one handed use and so on.

The company also posted a 13-second long teaser on its LG Mobile Global YouTube channel giving us hints about what we can expect from the smartphone. The company seemed to emphasis on ‘#Square’, ‘#FullVision’, ‘#UX’ and ‘#Graphics’ as the key points for the smartphone. There were a lot of cuts in the video rapidly teasing separate piece of the entire experience.
