Reliance Jio Prime membership registrations extended to 15 April

Reliance Jio has just announced that it has extended the Prime membership to 15 more days allowing more customers to get onto its paid platform. This means that customers who could not enroll for Jio Prime by 31 March can still do so by paying Rs 99 along with their the purchase of any Jio plans till 15 April.

Along with that the company announced a special Jio Summer Surprise for all Jio Prime members where their first paid recharge before 15 April using Jio’s Rs 303 or higher plan will get services for the initial 3 months on a complimentary basis.

The paid tariff plan will then be applied in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service.

The company also announced today that in one month over 72 million Jio customers signed up for Jio Prime, calling it one of the ‘most successful customer privilege programmes anywhere in the world.’

In case you haven’t managed to get Jio Prime, here is how you can get it.

The easiest way is to install MyJio app and sign in using your Jio ID. If you have not registered for a Jio ID, you will be prompted to register to a new Jio ID after which you can sign in. After registration and logging in the app, you will be greeting with a ‘Get Jio Prime Membership’ button in Golden colour on the ‘DASHBOARD’ area.

When you tap on the Golden button, you will be directed to ‘JIO PRIME’ sub-section in the ‘Recharge’ section. The first offer only lets you in for Jio Prime Membership Plan for Rs 99 while other two plans being offered by the app are “Bundled Offers” that offer Jio Prime membership along with the Rs 303 and Rs 499 offer for Rs 402 and Rs 598 respectively.

You can also save Rs 50 on every recharge if you recharge using Jio Money Wallet. This would essentially mean getting one Jio Prime subscription for free if the consumers are paying for two Prime subscriptions as detailed earlier. Other options include visiting the official Reliance Digital store around your area to enroll for prime membership. We suggest you to take the online route as Jio stores have been reportedly swarmed by people to get the membership.
